It all started in 1974 by the founder Simão Moreira and his passion for wood, producing firstly for other brands and bespoke projects.
In 2000 his three sons, keeping the family tradition, launched the name Tábula in the market. Their intention was creating high-end furniture with the know-how and human resources of the factory.
- We are a furniture brand, made in wood, with own production and based in Rebordosa, Portugal.
Tables were the main inspiration. With high-end quality and developing a peculiar technique for extendable tables. That was and still is, our core business.
After years of proven experience in tables´ manufacturing, Tábula decides to share its know-how and creates a new concept of furniture: simple, clean lines and functional, highlighting the wood and its textures. Besides tables and desks, Bella and Natur are two complex collections.
- In addition to our own collection, and as we have experience manufacturing hospitality, commercial and residential furnishings and case goods we produce for projects. We have supplied for several hotels, restaurantes, stores and residences in Portugal and internationally.
Main goal: Elevate our competency developing and producing furniture. To create unique and high-end projects and to contribute for our customer and partners´s success.
Sustainability and environment respect
Our products are made with wood from certified and sustainable forests, as well as finishes coatings which does not use raw materials which contain added lead or lead compounds.
